The Examiner: NO always means NO
September 18, 2014
As a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, and of Cornell University, Sandra is now using her Public Interest Law Scholar specialization in Refugee and Humanitarian Emergencies to advocate for women.
And she's doing very well at it. Not only is Sandra known for fighting for women's rights, but she has also gained strength in the LGBTQ community fighting to pass anti-discrimination legislation. Her track record is remarkable enough that she's become a serious contender for a Senate seat for California. As of September 4, she was ahead of her opponent Ben Allen in the polls by a 7 point margin, according to a poll paid for by the Sandra Fluke camp.
In response to Rush Limbaugh's latest gaffe, Sandra Fluke posted on her website a comment, and a request to sign a petition to send a strong message to Rush Limbaugh. Sandra said,
"Rush Limbaugh is at it again – this time on campus sexual assault. During his show yesterday, he made the absolutely disgusting comment: How many of you guys in your own experience with women have learned no means yes if you know how to spot it? Help us tell Rush Limbaugh that No. Always. Means. NO."
Readers can sign the Sandra Fluke petition if they would like to send a message to Rush Limbaugh.
